Vera Fogell Obituary
Vera is survived by 2 Sisters: Marie Schulz and Evelyn Gormley, 2 Brothers: James Gormley and Walter Gormley. She married the late Daniel Fogell Sr. and leaves behind four sons, Daniel Fogell Jr., Dennis Fogell, David Fogell, and Mark Fogell, Her two grandchildren, Nickolas Fogell and Christopher Fogell, A memorial service will be held in Ponce Inlet, Florida on September 27th 2008.
You are gone now and part of us has gone with you. You will always be remembered as a caring and giving person.

Vera, I will miss playing cards with you, the joking around and watching your grandchildren (they'll be fine). You were great company. You may have left us in body, but your soul will always be part of us. I'm so glad I met and got to know you. I'll meet you in heaven one day, because I know that's were you're going. Remembering Vera and the fun times we had when you visited us in Omaha. The pinochle games we played from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM - with time out only for eating. I can't forget the one and only time you dealt me 100 aces - and then the next day I dealt you 100 aces. Vera, you were a good friend, and very good to my daughter. I remember you with my love and prayers.

As sisters you and I have always shared something special. You were always there when I needed a friend. There was a time in my life when I couldn't forgive or forget somethings, but through your persistence and nagging, I finally listened and I thank you. Vera, you will certainly be missed! I've so often wished I could have a sister as special as you've been to Evelyn and Marie. The Gormley humor will always be the best way to remember you.

It has been a long time since you all lived on Alabama Avenue but the memories never fade. She was a dear friend to Mom. She will sit beside the rest of the angels watching over all of us. Dearest Nephews: Danny,Dennis,David and Mark, Our deepest sympathies on the loss of your Mom,Vera. There is no greater bond than that between a mother and child. And that bond cannot be replaced. So then, is the loss of a parent also great. I did not know Vera very well, but I do know she ran a strong race. I love the sons she raised up (especially Mark) and they all are a fine tribute to her life here on earth.

Vera was such a caring person with a heart of gold and a contagious spirit of kindness that touched anyone around her. The kids will remember the smooches and hugs, and the love she shared. Always a nice word or a comical nick that set Vera’s presence. She was a great person and we will remember her that way. We know she is in a better place now, with the angels. May she rest in peace.

What a special person, Vera! Never was I in her company when I didn't leave laughing~ her quick wit and candor unmatched. I am grateful to have been a part of Vera's friendship with my mother, Lola.
