Anna Welch Obituary

WELCH, ANNA G. (DeANGELUS), 80, formerly of Westmore St, Providence, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Kent County Memorial Hospital in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Welch.

Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late William and Eva (Geremia) DeAngelus.

She was a graduate of Bryant College.

She was the devoted mother of Patrick J. Welch of Hope, Stephen W. Welch of Harmony and Anne E. Caffrey of Warwick; loving grandmother of seven; and dear sister of Irene Munroe of Providence, Virginia Black of New Britian, CT and the late William DeAngelus, Jr.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Church, Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday 5-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Multiple Sclerosis Society, 205 Hallene Rd. Suite 209, Warwick, RI 02886.
