Donald Parry Obituary

PARRY, DONALD F., 65, of New London Turnpike, died Sunday at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Suzanne M. (Plaziak) Parry.

Born in Lawrence, MA, he was a son of the late John E. Parry, Sr. and Laurette A. (Belair) Parry.

Mr. Parry was a Machine Operator for Massasoit Machine & Engineering. He served in the 82nd Airborn Division of The United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeris #1313 of West Warwick.

He was the loving father of Laurie A. Longo of Westboro, MA and Carol M. Parry of West Warwick. Caring brother of John E. Parry, Jr. of Orleans, VT, Carol Goin of Tulare, CA and the late Judith A. Welch and Richard B. Parry. Cherished grandfather of four.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Christ The King Church, Legris Avenue, West Warwick. Burial will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call SATURDAY 8:00-9:00 am. www.murphyfuneralhomes.org
