Carl Bloor Obituary

BLOOR, CARL E., 74, of Warwick, died Tuesday at Kent Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy E. (Shields) Bloor.

Born in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was a son of the late Robert and Mary (Gleisly) Bloor.

He was employed by Litton Industries of Maryland, and Deknatel Industries of Fall River, in product development, retiring in 2000.

Carl was a communicant of Saint Peter Church, Warwick, a volunteer for the parish CCD program, and the Rhode Island Food Bank. He was a graduate of the University of Miami of Ohio and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Korea. He held a Federal Aviation Pilot License, and was an avid gardener.

Besides his wife Nancy, he leaves a son, Curt Bloor of Narragansett; three daughters, Connie Taylor of TN, Cathy Pratt and Chriss Bloor, both of CT; and four grandchildren. He also leaves eight brothers and two sisters.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday morning, at 11:00 am, in Saint Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick, to which relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick, RI 02888-3799 in his memory will be appreciated. Arrangements by Russell J.
