I am very sad to hear of Sister Eugena's passing right now. I am her former French student at Newport Country Catholic Regional School from 1979-1981. She taught me such that I won prizes in the statewide French contest. I was JUST today looking for her phone number to call her, when I saw these other web pages with the sad, sad news. She was a great teacher. I still speak French today just fine, a tribute to the quality of her skill!
