Roland Cote Obituary

COTE, ROLAND E., 85, of Social Dr. died Friday, August 29, 2008 at the Alpine Nursing Home, Coventry. He was the beloved husband of Sarah E. (Maguire) Cote for 64 years.

He was the son of the late Emery and Melodie (Ouelette) Cote. Mr. Cote was a dispatcher for Halls Motor Transit for 36 years retiring in 1985. He was a communicant and usher for St. Kevin Church, former charter member of St. Michael's Knights of Columbus, and Teamsters Retiree Local #251.

Roland was the devoted father of Margaret F. Patefield, Patricia A. Gleason and Robert R. Cote. Grandfather of Kristen, Ryan, Carolyn, Courtney, Jason, and James. Great-grandfather of Sarah Rose and Tucker. Brother of Lucille Zubyk and the late Rita Rossi.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 AM from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 PM. Information and guestbook visit www.TheQuinnFuneralHome.com.
