Milton Johnson Obituary

JOHNSON, MILTON PAUL, 69, a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years before retiring in 1982, died Saturday, August 30, 2008 at home. He was the husband of the late Jo-Ann (Powers) Johnson and a son of the late Milton P. and Dorothy (St. George) Johnson.

Paul served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1959 and was a volunteer driver for the DAV. He is survived by three children Stephen Johnson and Susan Barden, and Dr. Kenneth Johnson; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was the father of the late Dawn Johnson.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service Wednesday at 10 AM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial with military honors will be in Quidnesset Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Home & Hospice Care of RI South Team, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 will be appreciated.
