For many, many years Marie would bring her Mother Rita to Bloomingdale's near Boston almost every Saturday and Rita had a routine where she visited all those who befriended her . Rita loved to talk about her James and would show me his press clippings and each year would send me an "Operatic" calendar . I have all the cards she sent me at Easter and all the main holidays including father's day and I would send her a card when I would journey abroad . I'm so happy you are now with your James and your other family and I'll never forget the happiness you brought to me . I love you Rita and I thank Marie for all those trips she made so that you could enjoy yourself and make others happy . You are "like no other" .

We love you forever and never will forget the happiness and fun times we shared and all you taught us. We miss you so, but you and Papa will be with us always. Love from all of us.

It was at the former Shepard Co., Department Store that Rita and my mom first met. My mom was a salesperson in the linen department where Rita would purchase her linens. Their friendship lasted over the years and became closer when my mom retired in 1991. Rita (Galinda) was a delightful lady and one of the most interesting people I have ever met. We will miss her.
