Joseph Pelchat Obituary
Born in Warren, a son of the late Gaudias and Agnes (Lapane) Pelchat. He was a self employed commercial fisherman for many years. He served in the Army during WWII and received 5 battle stars.
Besides his wife he leaves one son Donald Pelchat and his wife Bernadette of Warren; two brothers Norman Pelchat of Providence and Omer Pelchat of West Warwick; three grand children and four great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Juliet Andre, and Leo Pelchat.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday September 12 at 10 a.m. in WILBUR-ROMANO Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers Donations to the Warren Fire & Rescue c/o Chief Al Galinelli, 1 Joyce St., Warren, RI 02885.
