Elsie Pacheco Obituary
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Manuel C. and Maria (Raposo) Reis.
She was an inspector for the Speidel Co. for 23 years before retiring in 1982. She was a communicant of St. Brendan's Church. She was a member of Harborview Tenants Association.
She is survived by her children, Ronald E. Pacheco of Rehoboth, Richard L. Pacheco of Garnet Valley, PA, Robert W. Pacheco of Coventry, 4 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren. She was the sister of Margaret Arnold of Riverside and Alfred C. Reis of No. Kingstown. She was the sister of the late Shandry D'Ascoli, Mary Gledhill, Alice Rose, Sebastian C., Anthony C. and Francis C. Reis.
The funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:00 AM from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 AM in St. Brendan's Church, Turner Ave., Riverside. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. I am so sorry for you loss. Back in the day, I remember some funny stories about how Aunt Elsie, my grandmother, Alice, Aunt Shandry and Aunt Margie getting together to play cards. I enjoyed watching them - they were so very silly together. Your mother was a very good person. God bless you.
