Robert Carlin Obituary
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late William B. Carlin, Sr. and Annie (Thompson) Carlin, he had lived in Pawtucket until 1998. Prior to retirement in 1981, he had been a member of the Pawtucket Police Department. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons: Robert S. Carlin, Jr. of East Providence, Thomas Carlin of Cape Coral, Fla. and Donald Carlin of Pawtucket; two daughters: Janice Carlin of Cape Coral, Fla. and Diane Bishop of Warwick; one brother: Gordon Carlin of Cumberland. He was the brother of the late William B. Carlin, Jr. and June Worsley.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, at 12 Noon in the DARLINGTON MORTUARY OF L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the American Heart Association, 222 Richmond Street, Providence, RI 02906, would be appreciated.
