Jennie Romano Obituary
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Mucciaciaro) Gasbarrino.
Jennie was a bookkeeper for Supreme Dairy Farms and had previously worked as an executive secretary for the Davol Rubber Company. She had been a volunteer for the Cub Scouts and for New Avenues Mental Health Association, Johnston.
Besides her husband of 61 years, she leaves a son, Michael J. Romano; a sister, Mary Timpani; and a granddaughter, Jasmine Lee Carcieri. She was the sister of the late Ernest and Paul Gasbarrino, Louise Remarski and Phyllis Gallo.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Visitation Thursday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. maceroni.com

Uncle Al and Michael!
Paul and I are so very sorry to hear of the loss of Aunt Jennie. We will remember the times spent with all of you with fondness. We are going to miss her!!

Aunt Jennie was always more like a Grandma to me than my great-aunt. I have missed her over the last decade, very much. I just want you to know, Uncle Al, that I won't ever forget how awesome you both were to me as I was growing up. I am sad today. And I miss you. Love very much,
