Barbara Detonnancourt Obituary

DETONNANCOURT, BARBARA B. (DEMERS), 73, of Shalom Drive, died Tuesday at West Shore Health Center. She was the beloved wife of Maurice J. Detonnancourt, they had been married 52 years. She was a daughter of the late Marcel and Lena (Jacques) Demers.

Mrs. Detonnancourt was a Lace Inspector for American Textile for 7 years and a sprayer for International Stenciling for 8 years.

Besides her husband, she is also survived by her sister-in-law Renee Demers of Syracuse, NY. She was the sister of the late Earl Demers and Alice Fournier.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:30 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ambrose Cemetery, Albion. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 8:00-9:30 am. in life. I have witnessed Maurice's
dedicated care for Barbara through
tough times and his devotion of first
