Daniel Connor Obituary
Born in San Francisco, California Dan was a son of the late Daniel J. Sr. and Frances (Schultz) Connor. He was married to Alice M. (Cooney) Connor for 58 wonderful years.
Besides Alice, Dan leaves son and daughter in law Dan and Mary-Ann Connor, daughter and son in law Cheryl and Bob Mahoney, daughter Deborah Connor and 3 beautiful granddaughters: Erin Mahoney, Alison and Caraline Connor. He also leaves a brother F. Jere Connor. Dan was a gentleman and a gentle man. He loved his family, friends, Florida and martinis with olives. He had a great life!
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. in The Butterfield Chapel, 500 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston. Funeral and burial will be private. What a wonderful, close family...any Dad would have been so proud...I am so sorry for your loss, though I'm happy for both you, Dan, and your Dad that you were able to enjoy time together in these last few months. Dear Alice, Dan, Cheryl, and Deborah,
I will be thinking of all of you, remembering those Sunday afternoons filled with pizza and beer, Alice and Ann accusing each other of cheating at gin rummy, Dale and Dan hooting and hollering over the point spread.
