Kyle, Larry and family,
Susan was in and out of our cottage so many times in the summer as a teenager. She was such a happy-go-lucky girl , always smiling and so friendly. We will all miss her.

My husband Alan told our youngest daughter with tears in his eyes, about the girl (Sue Gempp) who gave him his first kiss. He was 5 years old and he climbed a tree. She told him if he stay there that she would bring back some cookies and a kiss. She came back with some cookies and gave Alan a peck on the lips. She will always live on in my husband and now our youngest daughter Laurel because he share this story with her. We are very sorry for you loss. Your family will be in our prayers.
Best to you,

Kyle, Larry and family,
All my favorite summer memories are wrapped around Susan. Man hunt, Sandy beach, swimming lessons, the candy store, playing pitch, just to name a few. She had so many special gifts, a GREAT sense of humor, kindness, but most of all she saw YOU for who you really were. She was the most non-judgemental person that I have ever known. She loved you for being you. Now we are all so lucky to have such a "beautiful angel"looking over us all.
Love, Kathy

I had not seen Sue in many years and when I ran into her at a wedding a few years ago, it was like no time had passed. She was as bubbly as ever. She was a wonderful person and my prayers are with her family.

My deepest sympathies go out to the whole Gempp/D'ambrosio family. I remember like it was only yesterday. Kyle and myself were friends since the second grade. And we literally lived like 3 doors up from each other. When our mothers found out we were friends, they were ecstatic to say the least, as they were very close growing up. I haven't seen Kyle in almost 10 years now, ever since our freshman year in high school, but I would like to send out my condolences to him and his family. Sue was a great woman. She will be greatly missed.
