Lottie Kalafarski Obituary

KALAFARSKI, LOTTIE (BUREK), 84, of Ellison St., Cranston, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Kent County Memorial Hospital in Warwick. She was the beloved wife for 60 years of Chester J. 'Chet' Kalafarski.

Born in Enfield, CT, a daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Dubiel) Burek, she came to RI in 1951 settling in Cranston.

Lottie worked in the jewelry industry for many years and was co-owner with her husband of Kal Manufacturing Company in Cranston, before retiring.

She was the devoted mother of Lois Kalafarski and her partner Linda Parsons of North Kingstown and the late Robert Kalafarski, and his wife Jackie of FL; loving grandmother of Justin Kalafarski of Cranston and Jennifer Rocha and her husband Joseph of FL; and dear sister of Irene Sims of Dearborn Heights, MI and the late Frederick Burek and Ann Basierbe.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Ave., Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 3-7 p.m.
