Vilnis Mitris Obituary

MITRIS, VILNIS, 92, formerly of Lincoln, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 in The Friendly Home, Woonsocket. Born in Latvia, he moved to the US in 1949 and was the husband of the late Irma (Grauzitis) Mitris.

He was the owner of the former Mitris Construction Co. for forty years, retiring in 1990.

He is survived by three daughters, Mara Mitris of Woonsocket, Sandra Mitris of Cumberland and Ramona Mitris and her husband William J. Higginson, Jr. of No. Smithfield. He was the brother of the late Mirdza Malinas.

His funeral service will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 1PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, No. Smithfield. Calling hours are omitted. Memorial contributions may be made to The Charity of One's Choice. www.holtfuneralhome.com
