Gladys Barclay

BARCLAY, GLADYS, 91, of Minnesota Ave., died Thursday at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late George Barclay.

Born in New Bedford, MA she was a daughter of the late William and Sarah (Sullivan) Hall. Mrs. Barclay was a member of the Norwood Baptist Church, where her son George is the pastor, and a member of the Church's Norbakirk Group.

She is survived by her daughter Linda J. Visco and her husband Louie of Yarmouthport, MA and Jensen Beach, FL; her three sons, Kenneth W. Barclay and his wife Pam of Fort Pierce, FL, David W. Barclay and his wife Betsy of Fairhaven, MA and the Rev. George Barclay and his wife Kathy of Warwick and her eight grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Leslie Hall.

Funeral service at Norwood Baptist Church, 48 Budlong Ave., Warwick, Saturday at 11:00. Calling hours at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Ave., West Warwick, Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM. A private burial will be held on Monday in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Donations in her memory may be made to Norwood Baptist Church.
