Dear Jeanne and Raymond,
I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing, but she certainly lived a very long life. I remember her always being the best dressed person at any event due to the fact that she was an excellent seamstress.
Gert was the oldest of all my father's neices and she exhibited many talents in her long life. Hopefully you have inherited her longevity.
I will not be able to attend the wake or funeral due to previous commitments. I am so sorry for your loss. I know she will be sorely missed.
Love, cousin Jeannette
