Even though we live out of the area and didn't get to see and enjoy yours and Uncle Bob's company, Ed grew up with your family and has many memories of time spent with them. We are sorry that we couldn't be there to celebrate Uncle Bob's life, but know that you all have been in our hearts and prayers. Morgan was praying daily for Uncle Bob and your family and will continue to do so. He added Uncle Bob's name to the daily intentions that he and his class prays every day, so know that there is lots of love and prayers coming from his third grade class in St. Matthias School, Somerset, NJ, all the way to Seekonk, MA.

May God go with you,

The Murphy Family

Dear Peggy and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss and equally sorry that we could not be there to celebrate the life of Bobby. It is very traumatic to loose a husband, father and grandfather the caliber of Bobby, but I believe the Lord needed him for a divine purpose. I have many fond memories of Bobby and will always look back on different times that will bring laughter to my heart, however for now there is a tear in my eye. Bobby I only hope there is a "Field of Dreams" above the rainbow and you are on the pitchers mound throwing a No Hitter.

Mary Kay said it perfectly; it was wonderful growing up next to our Uncle Bob, Auntie Peg, and 6 cousins. Besides the shoveling of he pond, I remember Uncle Bob skating around the pond with his feet pointing east and west for what seemed (at 10 years old) hours on end. How did he do that? I always think fondly of my 21 years growing up on Lincoln Street, particularly next to all of the Whitakers on the other side of the pond. The older I get, though, the more I appreciate it. Uncle Bob was and will continue to be a large part of those fond memories. Your obvious strength as a family will help you through this difficult time. I love all you guys.

Peg and family:
Jim and I send our deepest sympathy to you on the death of your Husband, Dad and Grandfather. Jim grew up with Bob here in Seekonk and while in later years their paths did not cross often, Jim always enjoyed bumping into him around Town. The Celebration of His Life this morning was a very nice tribute to Bob. The children and grandchildren did a great job! Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.
Sincerely, Dottie Drapeau

To the Whitaker family, just to let you know that an old former Seekonk friend is thinking of you and sending my deepest sympathy on the loss of Bob. I hope it helps you to know that during this time of sorrow there are many people who will be keeping you in their thoughts and prayers.

It was an honor for me to have known and grown up with Bob.
May God Bless all of you.

Bobby was a wonderful man with a beautiful heart who brought warmth and laughter wherever he went. I am so blessed that my Dad, Jed, had such a wonderful friend in his life. I know that they are sharing a laugh and looking down at their beloved families with love, respect and admiration just as we are looking up at them with the same. Our hearts go out to all of you. With love, Jim Sharon & Stacie Schifino

I am so lucky to have grown up next to Uncle Bob and Aunt Peg and all my wonderful cousins. I have so many happy memories of Uncle Bob most of which are simply seeing him, always with a smile and hug for me. I think the ones that stick out the most are of him and my father out on the pond shoveling/snowblowing once it was safe so all their kids could
iceskate; and of course our annual 4th of July softball game that Uncle Bob always played in right up through this year.
We have lost a kind and loving man and will I miss him very much.
Love, Mary Kay
