Claire Taillon Obituary

TAILLON, CLAIRE E., 78, of St. Antoine Residence died Tuesday September 23, 2008. She was the wife of the Gerald Taillon

A resident of Woonsocket most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Louis T. and Beatrice M. (Dussault) Bernard. Her Catholic faith and family were the center of her life. Mrs. Taillon was a communicant of the former St. Anne Church and a member of Les Dames de Ste. Anne. She was the beloved mother of Gerald D. Taillon of Newburyport, MA, Rev. Marcel L. Taillon, Pastor, St. Thomas More Church, Narragansett and Diane J. Kane of Woonsocket, sister of Rene Bernard of Woonsocket and the late Richard C. Bernard. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated Saturday at 10 am in Precious Blood Church, Carrington and Park Avenues, Woonsocket. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours Friday from 5-7 PM in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett, concluding with solemn vespers at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Antoine Residence for a Wheel Chair Transport Van, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, RI 02896-6999. Arrangements by Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, Warwick.
