Dennis Mehlmann Obituary
Born in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Francis W. and Roseann (Capozzi) Mehlmann, he lived in Bristol for 25 years.
Mr. Mehlmann was a Special Education Teacher at Stevens Children's Home and Durfee High School, Fall River, MA for 20 years before retiring in 2006. Dennis was a communicant of St. Luke Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son; ENS. Richard F. Mehlmann, U.S. Navy, of Bristol, a daughter; Sarah E. Mehlmann of Bristol, and two sisters; Jean Malafronte of East Providence and Ann Mehlmann of Florida.
His funeral will be held on Saturday September 27 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNER AL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road Barrington at 11 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday 4-8 pm. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Dennis's memory to the Pulmonary Care Clinic at Tuffs Medical Center, 800 Washington Street, Box 231, Boston, MA, 02111 would be deeply appreciated.
