Rose Crawshaw Obituary

CRAWSHAW, ROSE M., 84, of Brookdale Blvd. died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital of Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late James E. Crawshaw, Sr. She was the mother of the late David W. Crawshaw

Born in Pawtucket, she was the youngest of seven children of the late Salvatore and Vermiglia (Pieri) Ranalli and was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mrs. Crawshaw was a Clerk for the Pawtucket Probate Court before retiring. In her retirement she worked in the office of Attorney Mark A. Sjoberg. She was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital of RI and at Hospice of RI, a member of St. Teresa's Senior Club and of St. Teresa's Rosary and Altar Sodality.

She is survived by one son, James E. Jr. and his wife Donna Crawshaw of Pawtucket, one daughter Rosemary Snedeker of Simmonsville, S. Carolina, seven grandchildren Melissa Paterson of Lincoln, James D. and David R. Crawshaw both of Pawtucket, Kendra St. Hilaire of Rumford, Kia-Leigh Snedeker of S. Carolina, Sky Snedeker of Seekonk and Edward Ross of Providence; eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held on Monday at 9am from the CHEETHAM MORTUARY INC., 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday from 5-8 pm. www.cheethammortuary.com
