Teresa C. Ambrosino

AMBROSINO, TERESA C. (SCALZI), 83, of North Providence, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Ambrosino.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Antonetta (Marrocco) Scalzi.

Teresa had been a building manager for Meshanticut Vista of Cranston and was a former co-owner of Peerless Display of Providence. She was a talented artisan. As a devoted mother and grandmother, Teresa loved cooking and sharing meals with her family. One of her greatest joys was going on family vacations.

She was the mother of three daughters, Dawn E. Lavoie and her husband Philip of Coventry, Roberta A. Harnois and her husband Roger of Cumberland and the late Jean Mary Masterson and her surviving husband Michael of Cumberland. Also, she is survived by her sister, Joan Santaniello of North Providence and her seven grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole, Matthew, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Lauren and Sarah.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Visitation Sunday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
