William Dugdale Obituary

DUGDALE, WILLIAM T., 77, of Providence Street, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the beloved husband of Rita M. (Valliere) Dugdale; the couple had been married for 55 years.

Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Frederick and Sarah (Plunkett) Dugdale.

Mr. Dugdale was a Corporate Supervisor for Citizens Bank Mail Room on Jefferson Blvd. for 19 years. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, and a member of the Irish Ceilidhe Club of Rhode Island and was an avid Red Sox fan. A Veteran of the Korean War, he served in the United States Navy for five years.

He was the loving father of Karen J. Furtado of West Warwick, caring brother of Marguerite T. Neiss of Fairfax, VA, cherished grandfather of two, great-grandfather of one. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Kristin M. Dugdale and brother of the late Frederick J. and Raymond F. Dugdale and Helen Musiol.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial with military honors will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
