Viola P. Felici

FELICI, VIOLA P. (PARENTE), 94, of Pontiac Street, died Thursday at Riverview Healthcare Community. She was the wife of the late Joseph L. Felici for 70 years.

Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Lorenzo and Maria (Calci) Parente.

Mrs. Felici worked for Natco and California Artificial Flowers. She was a member of the St. Ann Rosary & Alter Sodality of Sacred Heart Church, East Natick Veterans Womens Auxiliary, and Pontiac Peer Senior Citizens. Mrs. Felici served as a volunteer in the Kent County Hospital Chaplaincy Office for 30 years and was an active volunteer at Greenwood House.

She was the beloved mother of Gloria J. Olszewski and her husband Lieutenant Paul P. Olszewski, R.I. State Police (Ret.) of Cranston and Linda A. Centracchio and her husband Lieutenant General (Ret.) Reginald A. Centracchio, Adjutant General State of R.I. of Scituate. Caring sister of John Parente of West Warwick, Joseph and Anthony Parente both of Warwick, Pat Parente of Little Compton, Sam Parente of Cranston, Lawrence Parente of East Walpole, MA, Lena Ogrodnick of Connecticut, Ursula 'Eva' Senerchia of West Warwick and the late Jenny DiCarlo, Amelia Santilli, Lisa Gould, and Alfred and Domenic Parente. Loving grandmother of Paul J. and Scott D. Olszewski, Cheryl (Petrarca) Lyon, and Joseph A. Brito. Cherished great grandmother of Olivia, Jackson, and Ian Lyon and Brianna Olszewski.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue at Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick.
