Rita Blanchette Obituary
Mrs. Blanchette was a spinner for several mills in the Woonsocket area for 15 years and after raising her family was a maid for the former Clover Leaf Motel in Lincoln before retiring. She was the beloved mother of 2 sons, Adrien and Paul Blanchette both of Chepachet. Also survived by 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Luke and Erin Blanchette, several nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave., (Rte.44) Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Eugene Church, 1251 Putnam Pike, Chepachet. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Visiting hours Monday 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Eugene Church or VNA of RI, 475 Kilvert St., Suite 115, Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated. Information and guestbook, visit www.TuckerQuinnFuneralChapel.com.
