"They whom we love and lose are no longer where they were before. They are now wherever we are."
I hope this quote from St. John Chrysostom provides comfort to all of the FOUR ANGELS of Christine----that's what she always signed with in her greetings cards to me: Christine (and, for a time, and Walter) and the Four Angels.
Connie, Steve, Rick, and Robert and all your loved ones---may you all find comfort in knowing your mother was very special to me, especially as a rookie principal at Sacred Heart Academy and later at Mount Saint Charles. She ran the school in Central Falls, I kid you not...and by her confidence and involvement she helped MSC become what it is today. May she rest in the peace she richly deserved. May good memories continue to sustain us all as we mourn her death. With all of you I give thanks to God for the gift she was to you and to me for many years. I promise to lift her and all of you in prayers especially at Masses I celebrate this week.
Another thought, this one from Eskimo legend, might also console you all especially as you contemplate the stars on a clear night sky:
Perhaps they are not the stars but rather openings in heaven, where the love of our lost one pours through and shines down upon us to let us know their souls are at peace."

Christine was a wonderful and kind lady. We had many laughs at Creative Enterprises. May god hold her in the palm of his hand.

My heart goes out to Aunt Christines family, I know how much she will be missed. I have to say, I was so envious just seeing how close you all are and how much you all stuck by each other. I know how much your Mom loved playing cards and spending time w/her family...she always made me laugh and I loved our conversations!! I will miss her too..
