Not having been in touch for over 10 years after long period of intensive contacts related to building both "Mysticol" and "Eenling" now were looking for contact details in view of upcoming trip to the region in April/May 2009. It is a pitty that we decided to late to cross the Atlantic as we now miss unique opportunity to bring back the "Dutch memories". Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever. With a chilled "Korenwijn" at hand.

My heart goes out to you, Ingrid, with the loss of Stanley. I'll always remember the good times Bill and I had at your home and on your boat. You both were always so generous and gracious hosts. I'm sure that Bill and Stanley are in heaven discussing the up-coming election. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you as you go throught this difficult and sad time in your life. Stanley and I go back to the days before he started his own photo processing business. I helped him modernize his first little processing shop on Bank Street in New London, that eventually led to Mystic Photo Lab.
I was a feisty young art student and Stanley was a smart energetic and curious guy. We learned a lot from each other.
We also fished and chased ladies, worked hard and had lots of fun.
Our busy grown up lives led us down varied paths over the decades, but whenever we got together, however infrequent, Stanley remained warm, generous and always trying new ideas.
He remained a dear friend, who I will miss.
