Edna Anderson Obituary

ANDERSON, EDNA M. (SALZMAN), 91, of Iroquois Drive, Warwick, died on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Harborside Healthcare Pawtuxet Village in Warwick. She was the wife of the late William P. Anderson.

Born in West Haven, CT, a daughter of the late Harry and Isabella J. (Bond) Salzman, she lived in West Caldwell, New Jersey before moving to Warwick in 1983. She was a member of the Pilgrim Senior Center in Warwick.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara J. Hurd of Marietta, GA, Nancy L. Johnson of Warwick, and Carol E. Nichols of Augusta, GA; a son William G. Anderson of Coral Gables, FL; a brother, Harry B. Salzman of Cape Coral, FL; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Helen Viscount, Robert J. Salzman, and Elizabeth B. Chaplin.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, October 6, at 10 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Service at 11 a.m. in St. Mark Episcopal Church, 111 West Shore Road, Warwick. Visiting hours are Sunday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.

Dear Nancy and Family, I am so very sorry about your loss. I will miss Edna and your family so much. I also loved her like my own family member,I am very sorry she was with us for a short time. I send my deepest sympathy to your whole family. You were so very kind to me and my co-workers at the nursing home. Edna will be guided to her husband by god and will be in a better place.
