Missing you today and every day mom

Karen Myslinski

October 18, 2008

Dear Kim & Kelly:
Although words seem to say so little, I hope they help in some small way to ease the sense of loss that you're experiencing today. Hold fast to your memories, to all of the cherished moments of the past, to the blessings and the laughter, the joys and the celebrations, the sorrow and the tears. They all add up to a treasure of fond yesterdays that you shared and spent together, and they keep the one you loved close to you in spirit and thought. The special moments and memories in your life will never change. They will always be in your heart, today and forevermore. Jeannie will always have a special place in my heart, she was there for us when my mom (Janet) passed away, I remember she held on to me every step of the way into the funeral home and told me it was going to be okay, she and Janet were quite a pair!...lol...I remember coming home when Laura (my daughter) was little and needing someone to talk to and your mom was there for me, she spent a few hours giving me motherly advice which I will never forget, she truly is a special person. In some ways you will always know she is there, when I read the back of her memorium card, It really did make me smile, It was like she knew just what to say and when to say it, I have to say it was a sense of peace .....
Jeannie please give my mother the biggest hug for me!!! you will both be missed....

Dear Uncle John and Family,
It is with sadness I heard the news tonight of Jeannie's passing. Although it's been a year since I met Jeannie at the reunion, and saw first hand the warmth and love she has for her family, I've heard wonderful stories about her throughout my lifetime from my mom, Auntie Margie. Jeannie held a special place in my mom's heart and subsequently, in mine. My prayers will be with you all as we mourn our loss. Love, Jan

Dear Kim, Kelly, Sandee, Kenny, David, Ashley and Mr Lineham,
Our family is very saddened with our best friend Jeannie's passing.
I have 40 years of happy loving memories and good times with Jeannie.
As she would say, "A good time was had by all".
I will miss her so much. I will miss calling her on the phone and her answering with so much excitement in her voice saying, "Hi Mary Sue", her nickname for me. We would talk for hours.
Jeannie was a ray of sunshine in my life, always happy and upbeat, ready to cheer me up when needed.
I am so happy I got to see her a few months ago in R.I. Which we didn't realize would be our last meeting.
She was the most caring kindest friend to me, and loving mother, sister, daughter and Nana. She loved her family so much, as you all loved her. She will be so missed by all who knew her and loved her. My family was blessed by her friendship.
I have lost my dearest friend which makes me very sad, but I know she is in heaven with god, his angels and reunited with her Mother who she loved dearly and missed so much, also reunited with Paul. Can't you just hear them now making everyone laugh?
Our Jeannie is at peace.
Please keep in touch with me, you all are very special to us as Jeannie was.
We will cherish our wonderful happy memories until we meet Jeannie again.
With our love today and always,
Marilyn (Mary Sue) Larry, Melissa, Chuck, Heather and Juanita

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of your beautiful mother, Jeannie. Above all she loved her family. Dear Family of Jeannie DiSalvo:

One of my dear memories of Sweet Jeannie's thoughtful and gracious manner was when we were in R.I. one summer and she zipped through her kitchen including our family in her beach-lunch preparations. She fixed us lobster-salad sandwiches and frozen drinks and we had shown up unannounced. We spent every summer in R.I. for 40 years and our three boys, Hank, Mike and Danny, always played with Joe and Jeannie's girls Kim and Kelly and had the best time. Joe and Jeannie always went out of their way to provide friendliness, food,,gracious interaction and true family kindness whenever we visited. Jeannie loved her family beyond words and we will always remember her beautiful smile and loving way. Let us hope there are lobster-salad sandwiches in heaven because Jeannie will be serving them.
Much love always, Henry and Elaine Disalvo and Michael and Heather and girls, Hank and Leonor and boys, and Danny and Sara and girls.
