In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To the Mahoney Family,

I want to express my sincere condolences to all of you. I have not seen Nancy since I've moved out of RI in 1992, but I have such nice memories of her at the Lacroix home many years ago during the holidays and many functions. Nancy was a remarkable and wonderful woman. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Mom had a special connection with her family. Not everyone can say that. It was built on love and lots of good times shared. She made a happy difference in the lives of our family that will never be forgotten. She was my mother but also my friend that will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Mom, we will always love you.
