Robert Spetrini Obituary

SPETRINI, ROBERT, 70, of Warwick, died Wednesday at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Ann M. (Carvalho) Spetrini. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Louis and Angelina (D'Andrea) Spetrini.

Mr. Spetrini was the President of MRO Supply Company, Inc., having founded the company in 1972. A member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish and Leo Council Knights of Columbus, he was a past member and contributor to youth scholarship organizations, and was a youth athletic coach and sponsor. He served in the United States Navy.

He was the loving father of Robert Spetrini, Jr., and his wife Nancy of Saunderstown and Terri S. Harbour and her husband Michael of Northfield, NH., cherished grandfather of Eric Chandonnet, Robert Spetrini III, Paul Spetrini, and Zarek Harbour. Caring brother of Louis Spetrini of Florida, Catherine Moretti of Cranston, Elizabeth Berndston, Marie Bauer, and Barbara Pagliarini, all of Florida, and the late Joseph, Thomas and John Spetrini and Anna Zwolinski.

His funeral will held Saturday at 9:00am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home TODAY, Friday 2-4pm & 7-9pm. I wish I could have been there to tell you all the wonderful, warm memories I have of Mr. Spetrini.
Not just as "Bobby's dad", but of a kind and supportive person who had the right words to make me feel special. His sense of humor, love of family and enthusiasm for life are what I will remember most.
