Ruth McKeon Obituary

McKEON, RUTH A. (CAMPBELL), 88, of Arnold Avenue, Cranston, died on Friday, October 10, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the wife of the late Richard T. McKeon.

Born in Barre, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late George J. and Alice (Green) Campbell, she lived in Cranston since 1954.

Mrs. McKeon was employed in the office of McLaughlin & Moran, Inc. for 12 years, retiring in 1972.

She was the sister of the late Russell G. Campbell, George J. Campbell, John F. Campbell, and James E. Campbell. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 14, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 8-9 a.m. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Women's Breast Health Center, Women & Infants Hospital of RI, 101 Dudley Street, Providence, RI 02905.
