Marion McCarthy Obituary

McCARTHY, MARION J. (PLANTE), 97, formerly of Rumford, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. McCarthy.

Born in Esmond, a daughter of the late Albert and Mary (McDonald) Plante, she resided in Smithfield until moving to Rumford in 1994.

She leaves four grandchildren, Colleen A. Antunes, Dawn M. Paterson, Kara A. Paterson and Thomas A. Tainsh. She was the mother of the late Paula F. Paterson and the sister of the late Vincent Plante, Lillian Clarkin and Gladys Thomson.
