I just looked this up on a whim and was so saddened to hear that Sheila had passed. She was my old drama teacher back at North Providence High and very much a part of my success. I teach drama today and still use so many things she taught me. Sorry I'm so late to this page. I wish i had kept touch with her. She was a very special person. God Bless You Sheila. All my best and condolences to her family.

Sheila was and lives on, a miracle in my life, the one who truly saw and accepted me for who I am, the best friend I ever had. Yesterday was the 14th. Some moments it seems she was here long ago and then more often it is if she is still right by my side. We talked for hours (well maybe I did). She once wrote to me that "we would be friends forever..even after". Today I honor her and thank her with my whole heart for sharing her journey with me, inviting me in at the most difficult of times. I am honored and blessed and a better woman for having loved her and received the gift of her love for me. I love you my dearest friend with all my heart and will miss you always. Go with God, Caroline

Dear Greg,
I was so sorry to hear of Sheila's passing. She has been so brave throughout her illness, a truly inspirational woman! Unfortunately, I was in San Francisco at a conference and couldn't attend the services, but my Mom told me about the beautiful letter Sheila wrote. I know you had a special love for her, and that will not go away, and you will still feel her love for you. May God grant you peace knowing that she is in a beautiful place where there is no more pain and suffering. If there is anything Michael or I can do for you, please let us know.
Love,
Debi & Michael

My memories of Sheila are all so precious. We were neighbors and best friends in the late 70's. The blizzard, martini parties, Sunday dinners, dance lessons, the lake, skiing, floods we had so much fun. I will miss her smile, contagious laugh and creative spirit always. I'm so sorry for your loss.
