William Robert Obituary
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late William H. and Madeline (Lane) Robert. Mr. Robert was employed as head of security at Lincoln Greyhound Park until his retirement. He was also employed as by Lincoln Police Auxillary for a many years. He was a US Coast Guard veteran of WW II. He was a graduate of St. Raphael Academy Class of 1941. He was a Member of Lincoln FOP, Lincoln Council Knights of Columbus, and Pawtucket Fraternal Order of Elks.
His sons William H. Robert III and his wife Christine, Christopher Robert and his wife Pattilee, his daughters Paula Pruzan and her husband Kent and Holly O'Donnell and her husband Lt. Colonel Steven O'Donnell of RI State Police, his sister Theresa Boudreau, his grandchildren Scott Robert. Sarah Borowski, Jared Pruzan, Christopher P. Robert, Conor, Cody and Brady O'Donnell, and his great grandchildren Scott Robert Jr. and Nicholas Borowski survive him. He was the brother of the late Jack Robert.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:45 AM from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd., Cumberland. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.

As hard as it is a passage I am familiar with says "there are no more tears in heaven and I will once again be made whole" I do believe this and I can't tell you how sorry I am for your loss

Very sorry for your loss. I worked for Bill at the Track for fifteen years during the 70's and 80's. He was was respected. Sincerely, Jerry Newsham,former Lt for the Park Police,DEM and retired Deputy Sheriff. I am currently visiting family in Florida and I am truely sorry that I can not attend and pay my respects.
