Dear Mrs. Giroux and family,
Mr. Giroux was my english teacher when I attended Mt. Pleasant High School. I was a member of the graduating class of 1969. Teachers such as he were a rare find. He gave me a great appreciation for the works of William Shakespeare. He made learning an enjoyable experience and I loved attending his class. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers. Mr. Giroux was a wonderful, kind, intelligent man. He touched the heart and minds of so many students and his legacy will live on.

I had Mr. Giroux as my english teacher at Smithfield High. I graduated in 1978 and I have thought of him many times over the years. I just spoke about him at a open house a few weeks ago as I sat in his old classroom. He was always a kind and patient man. I am very sad to see of his passing. God Bless him and his family.
