Guiseppe Marasco Obituary
Born in Calabria, Italy, a son of the late Fernando and Theresa (Scalazio) Marasco, he came to the U.S. in 1967 settling in Providence, moving to Cranston in 1970.
Mr. Marasco was a retired mason and was working as a bartender at the Santa Maria DiPrata Society in Cranston. He served in the Italian Army and was a member of St. Marys Feast Society.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Joseph Jr., Patricia, Michael, Anthony, Joanne, Donna and the late Lisa Ann Marasco; loving grandfather of 10; loving great-grandfather of 5; and dear brother of Lena, Claudio, Pasquale and John Marasco.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomews Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
