Thomas Sargent Obituary
Born in Shelby, NC, Sept. 28, 1935, he was a son of the late A.C. Sarden and Louise Eskridge. Mr. Sargent worked as a machinist before retiring from American Insulated Wire. He was a member of the Haven United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife of 45 years, he leaves his four children, Deborah Sargent and Thomas Sargent II, both of East Providence, and Elizabeth Jones and Laura Geter, both of Shelby, NC; five grandchildren, Thurman, Chris, Cedric, Chad and Shirika; three great grandchildren; and two brothers, Larry Hardy of Charlotte, NC and J.C. Patterson of Shelby, NC.
His funeral will begin Saturday at 11am at the Haven United Methodist Church, Taunton Ave., East Providence. Burial will follow at the Springvale Cemetery, Rumford. Calling hours will be Friday 5-8pm, in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence.

My dear sister-in-law Harriet and family---My heart and prayers go out to all of you. I remember the days when TC and you would come over for card games and we would laugh and have so much fun.
