Rita Morel-Bragaul

MOREL-BRAGAUL, RITA, 90, formerly of Central Falls, died Thursday in Ct. after an illness. She was the widow of Alphonse Morel and also of Antone Bragaul.

She was born in Central Falls a daughter of the late Wilfrid and Gloria (Turgeon) LaMontagne. She lived most of her life in the city. She had lived in Ct. for the last 7 years. She had been employed as a waitress at the former Conrad's Banquet Hall and the former Algiers Diner. She was Queen Mother of the Red Hat Society at Gardner Heights, Health Center, Ct.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Diann Morel of Stratford, Ct. and Gloria Gendron of Palm Gardens, Fl. She also leaves a son Robert Morel of So. County, a step-son Ed Bragaul and 2 step-daughters, Lucy Cunha and Sue Deavers. She also leaves a sister Annettte Girard of Central Falls and a brother Raymond LaMontagne of Cumberland and her brother-in-law Jerry Ambeault of Central Falls, 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Armand and Alphonse Morel.

Funeral, Monday at 8:30 Am from the CHARLES COELHO Funeral Home, 151 Cross Street, Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church, Dexter Street at 10 AM. Visitation, Sunday, 2-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the recreation fund at Gardner Heights Health Center, 172 Rocky Rest Rd. Shelton, CT. 06484.
