My Mother taught me to make the best of any situation. She taught me to make do with what I have. She taught me to make SOMETHING from NOTHING. My Mother learned this from her Mother. My Grandmother was a remarkable and extrodinary woman. She could do so much with so little. She gave of her time, food, even money, if someone needed it more than she, when she didn't really have it to give . Her heart was full of love for all her family. She , also, taught me many, many things. I will CHERISH her ALWAYS and miss her, GREATLY, FOREVER. I am so THANKFUL for ALL the time we had together. I LOVE YOU MY DEAR GRANDMOTHER, Love, Brenda XOX XOX

I am truly sorry to hear of Aunt Mil's passing. She was such a wonderful lady, full of life and spirit. She told me so much of the Family History and kept my interest in Geneology with her stories of the past and the people in it. She loved her family very much and told me she prayed for each and every one of us. I am so grateful that I got to visit her just about a year ago to hear her encouraging words.

Mildred was a wonderful woman, who's inner strength from her deep seated faith and Indigenous roots inspired everyone in her life. Her presense will surely be missed by all lucky enough to have known her. Her 96th birthday celebration was very special to Deb + I. Safe journey to the next stage of life mom, you are in our prayers and always in our hearts.

Debbie & Katie,
Your mother, and Katie your grandmother, was always so kind and generous. I will always remeber the warm welcome my family of six received when we joined your church. I hope your memories of her comfort you both at this time.

My Great-great Grams was/is a truely strong and inspirational woman. She is one of my Heros like my mother. I loved her stories and so did my children. I always looked forward at Christmas time to visit with her and hear more stories. Even though I can't hear them any more, I will treasure the ones she had told me in me heart. Grams you will be truely missed by me and my kids and everyone else who had the pleasure of knowing you. I Love you Grams and you will always be in our hearts. One day we shall meet again, until then keep watch over us (if you can). Love you
Your Great-great granddaughter,
Michelle Dionne

My Grandmother was truly an inspiration to me throughout my life. She showed me what it was to be an empowered woman as she took charge of her life and made the best of any situation. She exhibited courage and strength throughout her life. Grandma always let all of us know that she loved her family as well as her large extended family and that love never waivered. I already miss her presence in my life, however, my memories of her will remain in my heart and the life lessons that I learned from her are mine to treasure and reflect on. I love you Grandma.
