Family & Friends,
I'd like to share just how grateful I am to all those in attendance of Deb's memorial. It was an honor to share in the love & compassion for the bright & mighty woman we all knew her to be. How splendid to witness these attributes reflect from the souls closest to her; Sisters, children, nephews, nieces, cousins & friends!
Yes, I have missed my companion of youth. My consolation is this:
"... separation is temporal; this remoteness & sorrow is counted only by days. ... Physical companionship is ephemeral, but heavenly association is eternal & never ending union, thou wilt be comforted & blissful."
"... and there she will be informed of the secret of truth; how much more will she recognize..."
"... a love that one may have entertained for any one will not be forgotten in the world of the Kingdom. Likewise, thou wilt not forget (there) the life that thou hast had in the material world." ............ Baháí Teachings.
Love to All, Charlene (cousin & friend)

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget

May all the wonderful memories you have help to get you through this very difficult time.

With our deepest sympathy and love.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was reading the Sun Chronicle online , like I often do and the name jumped out at me. I was shocked to read of the loss of your brother last year as well, I had no idea what you have been going through.
I cannot imagine the pain you are in, and although we have lost touch over the years, you have never been far from my thoughts.
You and I have seen each other through so many difficult periods in our lives, I will never forget that.
Please know you are in my thoughts, my prayers, and forever in my heart.

Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long
before it breaks?
The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come.
When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it
up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the
eagle is soaring above it.
The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift
it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.
When the storms of life come upon us - and all of us will experience
them - we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief
toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's
power to lift us above them.
God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness,
tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above
the storm.
Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how
we handle them. Pastor Michael J. Turcotte

PSALM 23: 1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He marketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Amen
