Dear Jean--I only just learned of the passing of John and we (of the Mellor family) wish to extend our condolences. He was wonderfully kind and gentle but a man who was so connected to the spiritual community. He will be greatly missed. We did not go to the services because we are--at present--in NC, at our retirement home. But know we have you in our thoughts and prayers. Again, we are sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Mitchell and family...
It was with great sadness that I heard of John's passing. My husband and I have fond memories of all the good times we had with John at various occasions connected with Johnston High School. I taught with him for 30 years and remember fondly all the various activities connected with JHS.
Our prayers go out to you and your family.
