Ralph Hunter Obituary

HUNTER, RALPH W. JR., 85, of Edgewood, passed away October 21, 2008 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of Izetta M. (Cobb) Hunter, they were married for 56 years.

Born in Marshall, MN, he was a son of the late Ralph W. and Lois (Gaither) Hunter. He had lived in the Edgewood section of Cranston for many years. Mr. Hunter was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. He had worked as a Salesman for Johnson & Johnson, Hills Brothers and for the last 4 years, Target.

Besides his wife he leaves three daughters, Linda Millman of Georgetown, CA, Susan A. Lee and Lois J. Lee, both of Cranston; a sister, Nancy Wallinder of Davis, CA; as well as 7 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Thomas Hunter.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 445 Elmwood Ave., Providence. Calling hours respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in his memory to St. Paul's Church Altar Guild, 445 Elmwood Ave., Providence, RI 02907.
