Ursula Canaan Obituary
Born Nov. 13, 1916, a daughter of the late Pasqual and Cecile (Gesmondi) Iannelli, she would have been 92 next month.
Mrs. Canaan's life revolved around her family, her cooking, and working alongside her husband in the family business, W.J. Canaan, Inc. She retired at the age of 82. Later in her life, she became an avid reader, and enjoyed the visits of her four great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by both family and friends.
Mrs. Canaan leaves her daughter Patricia (Canaan) Narcessian and her husband Dick, and her son Nathan W. Canaan and his wife Beth. She also leaves four grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Virginia (Al) Lombardi and brother Michael Iannelli. She was predeceased by her sisters, Rose Santasousso, Edith Germani and her brother Joseph G. Iannelli.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. in St. Joseph's Church, West Warwick.
Visiting hours respectfully omitted. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Beacon Hospice, 6948 Post Rd., Suite 500, North Kingstown, RI 02852 will be appreciated.

Dear Pat, Richard, Nathan and Beth: Joe and I were out of the country for 2 weeks and did not learn of your dear mother's death until we returned. Our hearts go out to you over this terrible loss. Anne was a gem who will be sorely missed.
