Mary C. Monfette

MONFETTE, MARY C. (BUTERA) 90, formerly of Hill View Dr, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 29, 2008 surrounded by her loving family at the Steere House, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Monfette.

Born in Windham, CT. she was the devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Kendra) Butera.

Mrs. Monfette was employed as a secretary for the Community College of RI, Flanagan Campus, Lincoln for many years before her retirement.

She is survived by her daughters, Marcia Bentley and her husband Arthur and Kristina Pricolo and her husband Anthony all of Johnston; two sisters Agnes Russillo of Cranston and Geraldine Cunningham of Ashaway; two brothers Salvatore Butera of Woonsocket and Vincent Butera of Arizona; two grandchildren Talia and Edward Pricolo and a step granddaughter Elizabeth Hamilton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Josephine Martin.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Visiting hours Friday 4-8pm.
