Elmer Fisher Obituary
Mr. Fisher was a WWII veteran of the US Army and was a 1949 graduate of Rhode Island College School of Pharmacy. He was an avid fisherman and was a member of the Seakonke Wampanoag Tribe of Seekonk, the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, the New England Tennis Assn., and the US Bowling Congress.
He is survived by his daughter, Catherine Hilton Pina of Mashpee, MA; three grandchildren, Ronald Hilton of Swansea, Christine Kelley of VA, and Melissa Moore of GA; and 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of Edna Rawlings and Three Bears Fisher, both of East Providence, and of the late Bernice Hooks, Carolyn August, Carlton Fisher and Belford Fisher.
He was the father of the late Donna Elaine Fisher.
His funeral will begin Saturday at 11am in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Saturday morning, 10am until the time of the service at 11am.
