I worked for Mike for many years at Manchester Memorial and he was certainly one in a million. I learnt so much from him how to be a decent, compassionate human being. He was an awersome husband and father. I know you will all miss him deeply but I think all our lives were blessed to have him be part of ours. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Dear Cathy & Family,

There are special and remarkable people we meet in our lives....and Mr. Gallacher was one of those truly special individuals I will never forget even though it had been years since our paths crossed.

Always a smile, wink and a quick wit humor with my mom. He always called my mom, Mrs. Burns. I will never forget. (smiling)

I extend my love, prayers, and wonderful memories of your remarkable husband, father, grandfather, and special friend.

My Heartfelt Blessings,

Cathy, Rachel, Richard, Stephen, David and family members,
I am truly saddened to hear about our loss. Mr. "G" as he is so fondly remembered as at MMH, was a true leader with a heart of gold. He is what compassionate care is all about and his memory still echos in the hallways of MMH. I am fortunate to have worked for such wonderful man who was not only my mentor, but my friend. May you find comfort from those whose lives he has touched..

Years ago I was wheeled into the surgical suite and saw Mike, gowned up, waiting for me. When I saw he did not have a scalpel in his hand I was relieved and he told me that he would not miss this surgical assault on me for the world. He did not belong there but certainly was a smiling, friendly face that I needed.
He was a class guy and a good friend that will be missed by many.
