Daniel Beck Obituary
Born in Providence, a son of the late Daniel R. and Mabel A. (Fawthrop) Beck. He lived in Harmony for 62 years.
Mr. Beck was a plasterer and member of Plasterers and Cement Masons Local #40 in Providence retiring in 1991. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and member of USS Prince William CVE 31 Assoc.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Daniel R. Beck, III of Harmony, Margaret Peg Beck of Acton, MA, Patricia Aubin of Harmony and William Leonard Beck of Puerto Rico, seven grandchildren and a sister, Lois Disney of Harmony. He was the brother of the late Leonard Beck.
Visitation Sunday 3-6 pm in the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Funeral private. My deepest regards go out to you and your family at this time. I knew Mr. Beck from Harmony Restaurant (now April’s), I waited on him for years. He was like a father to me, and I will miss him more than can be imagined. I want to wish your family my sympathies over the loss of such a great man.

Ruth and I have had many years (12) drinking coffee with Ray each morning. He ,was always welcome at our table. He talked so much about his family, politics,military, and those fishcakes his dad made.
